Lateral Cephalometric Scan

A Lateral Cephalometric Radiograph, or Lat Ceph, is an X-ray taken from the side of your face so that various measurements can be made to map the current and future interaction and positioning of your lower jaw and your cheek bones. Malocclusion (a mismatched bite) can mar, and eventually destroy, crowns, veneers and/or dental implants. Dr. Boskovic uses the resulting image to help with the precise positioning of your restorations.
